A standard visit lasts about three hours under the allocated ticket duration. This timeframe provides plenty of time to experience both the indoor and outdoor pools, spend time in the dry sauna, and unwind in the dedicated relaxation lounge afterward.
Weekdays are ideal for experiencing quieter hot spring baths with fewer crowds compared to busy weekends. Heading inside during the late afternoon or early evening is particularly rewarding right after a walking tour around Arashiyama. You can soak your tired muscles while taking in the calm mountain backdrop.
The ticket grants access to natural thermal hot spring baths, indoor and open-air pools, steam sauna facilities, changing areas, and a communal rest lounge. Guests can pick between weekday or weekend entry passes, with choices that either include or exclude towel rentals.
Yes, young guests are welcome across designated ticket tiers at this bathhouse. Toddlers and preschoolers aged 0 to 2 enter under specialized preschool passes booked as an adult tier, while kids up to 12 years old use standard child admissions. Infants aged 3 and older are accommodated under the standard family admission categories.
